
Lemon Iced Coffee
Get the rich cafe taste at home with this delicious recipe. It begins with cold brewed ice coffee, adding a lemony finish. It’s not just great tasting, it’s packed with antioxidants and vitamins.
Ingredients
Cold Brew Coffee
- 1 ounce ground coffee
- 1 cup cold water
Lemon Coffee
- 1 cup cold brew coffee
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon honey to taste
- 1 dash ginger bitters optional
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slice to garnish
Instructions
Cold Brew Coffee
- Combine the coffee and water in a clean glass jar or coffee press.
- Cover, and allow it to steep 12 to 24 hours – depending on how strong you like it.
- When you are ready to use it, strain out the coffee with cheese cloth or paper coffee filters.
- Dilute 1:1 with water.
Lemon Iced Coffee
- Add the cold brewed coffee, lemon juice, and optional honey and ginger bitters to a tall glass over ice.
- Stir to combine.
Notes
Note: The cold brew coffee will need 12 to 18 hours to steep at a minimum, so you’re best bet is to prepare it the day before, and let it steep overnight.
